Event Title:
Perk Up Meetings: Be an Educational Design Consultant to Internal & External Clients™
Event Description:
In good or tough economic times, meetings’ ROI is critical to all stakeholders (including suppliers who provide space and services to and for meetings). Understanding learning styles and meeting objectives, good design elements including room set differences, and an appreciation for what brings energy to meetings, all of which contribute to learning can help you become a consultant to your internal and external clients. In so doing, you perk up meetings and become an invaluable resource.
MPI Platinum Program:
The Platinum Program was originally created in 1999 and funded for a three-year grant by MPI, the MPI Foundation, Hilton Sales Worldwide and United Airlines. It was conceived and delivered as an education enhancement to accent programming at the chapter level, to drive chapter meeting attendance, to make a dramatic statement about MPI’s commitment to education and chapters and to assist with improved membership recruitment and retention. Today, the Platinum Program continues to provide top quality education opportunities to MPI Chapters.
MPI’s Platinum Program consists of educational sessions such as CSR, from pre-qualified, high-level speakers. The program runs from July 1 through June 30 each fiscal year.
Event Fees:
MPI Member rate: $50 / $60 after May 7th
Non-Member rate: $60 / $70 after May 7th
WestField Past President rate: $30 / $40 after May 7th

Learner Objectives:
- Move meetings to a higher level of professionalism.
